Hey Joseph,

Thanks for stopping by! I absolutely agree with your point about doubting yourself. Instead of fearing that your professional superiors are going to shoot down any and all ideas you might have, consider instead that your ideas bring a fresh perspective to the table.

And also, I actually posted about Future Delivery some months ago in an article titled "Twitter and YouTube are Having a Baby" (found here). Looks like you guys are on the right path; I'm practically foaming at the mouth waiting for FD to launch. Plus, I'm enjoying all the challenges over at FDCareer. :)

Regards,
Ingrid

Hey Ingrid,

Great post as usual. I really enjoyed this one because I can relate to what you write about. I am working with a startup company right now, Future Delivery, and I am on the marketing team and am always learning new things.

If I can give some advice to someone looking at entry-level marketing, I would say that you can't doubt yourself. You will encounter situations that you may feel overwhelmed or intimidated, but you must overcome them and stay composed and level-headed.

Also I totally agree with:

"3. Using two monitors instead of one is the best decision I ever made, especially where collecting data and doing graphic design are concerned."

I've found it to be very helpful.

I look forward to reading more from you!

All the best,
Joseph
